~Thought for the Week~

Come to the edge.
We might fall.
Come to the edge.
It's too high!
COME TO THE EDGE!
And they came,
and he pushed,
and they flew.

I love that quote...the imagery...and you and I both know that BoBo can fly so how very appropriate! Great find babe...gives me goosebumps.

Love you!

I always dream of going off the edge of a cliff, beginning to fall and then soaring all over with wild abandon.

Oh I have fallen down quite few cliffs, one big fall once that led to much trouble... but you know? 'Twas all a part of my path so no regrets although the times when the jump leads to soaring, now that's the stuff to live for!

If my klutziness does not get in the way, I plan to have more flying in my future than falls... WOOH!

May you have had a great weekend and may your week be nothing short of magical my sweet friend! Love this pic of Bobo (as do the kids!)

Besos!

~Duh~ Owww, my head hurts. Whatever happened to the simple quotes, like Pee Wee Herman's "a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush?" Anyway, have a nice day, and maybe I'll stop by again, with something smart, when I "get it."

Sometimes, we all just need that push. Great quote, really.

Good way to start the Monday. Although I would have preferred a push back into bed, but here I am.

Have a great day and thanks Bobo! xox

Very inspiring quote. Just one question, are Bobo's ears like Dumbo's? Just wondering. ;)

We saw Happy Feet this weekend and the penguins went to the edge and jumped... no flying though.

Honey: this is an all-time favorite quote of mine, thanks to my beautiful (and oh-so-wise) sister. i love the idea that our own fears are what holds us back... that one can't fly unless one leaps first. something you've embraced many times over the years -- just one of the many reasons i admire you as much as i love and adore you! xox

Nessa: my friend, you have the heart *and* the wings to do just that! (well you do if your avatar is any indication). xox

Miz B: methinks you are well acquainted with the concept of "leaping"... and i mean that in a GOOD way. as for klutziness? hey, practice makes perfect, my dear friend, soaring doesn't happen by accident... xox

Al: what? too optimistic for you? that's what you get for stopping by with a hangover. plop plop fizz fizz, my friend... you'll soar after you're through being sore. xox

G: yeah, sometimes the scary part is deciding to take the plunge in the first place. especially when it involves unknown (and/or unflown) territory. scary, but fun. especially when you find out you really *can* do the thing you didn't know you could do. xox

Sar: hah! nope. but to see him run is to believe a happy puppy can fly -- his leaps through the air are a sight to behold. and if he'd beholding one long enough, i'd have had a better picture to post with this dang quote! xox

Brian: so they "leapt" and did a little slippin' and slidin', right? ah well... as long as they had fun! (hope you guys did, too) xox

Oh, I do do do like that one. Especially on the eve of my first baby's birthday...she's 15 tomorrow. Wow.

Your puppies butt is cute. He is such a freakin' ham!
g'day, doll. xoxoxox

It's true. We flew.

ah... taking that first step... hmmmmm

lotsa luv ann xxxx

That's not flying. It's falling with style.

Cindra: it's a perfect birthday quote--and Happy Birthday to your first beautiful baby! xox

Doug: don't you mean "it's twue"? xox

Ann: always the tough one, right? xox

Diesel: i once dated a navy pilot who "fell with style" when his parachute didn't open after he was ejected from his F-14 when it developed engine trouble. i always thought it was too bad he didn't land on his head, 'cuz he was a jerk. (what that has to do with this is anybody's guess...) xox
